APFP mission

We rescue dogs from kill shelters and see them through to adoption, providing any medical and other care needed while the dog is foster care, and ensuring adoption in a loving forever home.

OUR GUARANTEE

Every APFP dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and healthy & happy. We also promise that you will feel incredible joy from adopting a rescue dog. "Adopt, Don't Shop!"

We rescue dogs from animal shelters in southern California, many of them "high-kill," and see them through to adoption in loving forever homes. We provide the medical care, emotional support, and love for these dogs who, often, have been literally saved from death's door. Our fosters, transporters, and other volunteers are people we know closely and trust with our own furry companions. When you adopt a dog from A Pass for Paws, you will know that you have played a tremendous part in our continuing rescue efforts.
